Wilderness Survival Skills offers students hands-on experience building and refining practical outdoor skills during the transition from Winter to Spring. Participants will practice foundational survival skills such as shelter building, fire building, navigation, tool use, and safe movement through changing terrain.
This program emphasizes adaptability, problem-solving, and thoughtful decision making as students learn to respond to variable weather, snowmelt, mud, and shifting temperatures. Activities are designed to meet students where they are – supporting confidence, resilience, and respect for both self and environment.
