Explore the exciting world of disc golf with our 6‑week Disc Sport Unit at the brand-new Whiskeag Ridge Disc Golf Course in Bath. Whether your student has never held a disc or whether they are dreaming of competing someday, this program offers a rich mix of instruction, practice and play that adapts to every level. Students will receive hands‑on “clinics” led by local PDGA player Levi Lamoreau (PDGA #135031 rating ~918–3) and course founder Brian Orr (PDGA #172803 rating ~895) learning core disc golf techniques such as grip variation, forehand/backhand throws, putting mechanics, stance and footwork, and disc selection for varying shot shapes. As confidence grows, participants will practice navigating the course’s tee to basket lines, reading wind angles and strategizing safe approaches to each hole. Over the weeks, we’ll rotate through skill “stations,” putting challenges, and full rounds on varied tees at the Whiskeag Ridge Course and back on our home turf at Brightfield.
