Farm Work at Growing to Give, Brunswick
Led by Growing to Give staff and supported by Kyle and Mae, Farm Club is a meaningful way for students to learn about agriculture and the importance of giving back. After planting in the spring, students now return to Growing to Give to help with the harvest! Digging, picking, washing, and witnessing the (literal) fruits of our labor! Students will also learn about animal husbandry and help care for G2G’s herd of very cute goats!
Located in Brunswick, Growing to Give is a nonprofit organic farm dedicated to addressing food insecurity through sustainable agriculture. Students will learn about food systems, composting, biodiversity, and climate-conscious farming practices. Click here to learn more.
