Outdoor Classroom and Wilderness Skills
- Date Range: 5/2/25-6/6/25 (5 sessions)
- Grade Range: 1-7
- Leader: Kyle
Join us on Fridays for an immersive outdoor learning experience! Each week, we’ll gather at the fire circle to explore a rotating focus on essential wilderness skills such as shelter building, firemaking and flora and fauna identification. This program will blend hands-on skill-building with unstructured time for kids to connect with nature, play, and contribute to improving our outdoor classroom space. Participants can choose to engage in the weekly activity or explore the woods in their own (supervised) way, fostering independence, curiosity, personal responsibility and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
